Entsorgungsgesellschaft Steinfurt mbH (EGST) coordinates waste disposal in the entire district of Steinfurt. The field of activity of EGST is very diverse, starting from composting of municipal biowaste and disposal of residual and bulky waste to the recycling of biowaste and waste paper as well as use of mobile hazardous waste collection vehicles.

Entsorgungsgesellschaft Steinfurt mbH has been enjoying the use of AMAGNO since April 2018. The digital document management is currently used to map its invoice workflow and postal services. The implementation of DSM and ECM for further work processes is being developed.

REQUIREMENTS

The main reason the waste management company decided to purchase DSM was not only to reduce paper consumption and obtain mobile workplaces, but also to optimize the business processes and archive relevant business documents, licences, permissions and contracts. Additionally, the company wanted to have a permanent availability of its information on various processes for all employees. For such purposes the full text search and indexing features were required. Thus, the workflow became increasingly paperless. This results in more transparency in various processes and makes it possible to integrate existing structures. In addition to these aspects, the system was required to be intuitive for users and to have interfaces for an accounting software and EMOS software, which is used for waste management.

IMPLEMENTATION

Currently, the company is still in the introductory phase. In cooperation with AMAGNO, the first workflows for invoices and postal services are being created. Further workflows will follow.

Although EGST is only starting with the electronic management of its documents, the interfaces for Hamburg Software and EMOS are already being implemented. In the future, the company wants to terminate all processes that consume paper and digitalize their workplace with the help of AMAGNO.
