Founded in 1995 in Berlin, Spree Ambulance GmbH & Co. KG currently owns not only the patient transportation, but also Berliner Krankentransport Leitstelle GmbH – the largest private association in Germany, which has eight cooperation companies specializing in patient transport. Depending on the season, the company can undertake 500-800 patient transports per day in the Berlin area.

Spree Ambulance also provides the emergency forces with its available resources for international aid missions and disaster control. Thanks to the cooperation with two ambulance flight services, ambulance flights were made possible within Germany and Europe in May 2012.

REQUIREMENTS

Spree Ambulance GmbH & Co. KG was looking for a new system due to the unsatisfactory existing document management system. With AMAGNO, not only was the amount of paper waste considerably reduced, but also essential control and statistical elements were made available to the cooperation companies.

In future, the employees will be able to completely devote their time to their core tasks again. Additionally, the cooperation companies of the Berlin Hospital Transport Control Centre will have a possibility to check whether the basic treatment conventions are adhered to.

IMPLEMENTATION

In 2017, Spree-Ambulance GmbH & Co. KG implemented AMAGNO into its processes. At first, the document management system was used to digitally record all paper processes and the processing of billing, service invoices and reclamations at four different locations. The mapping of other workflows gradually followed. The additional working processes, which were previously lost due to lack of time and resources, could now be mapped into the system as well. AMAGNO enables the company to work in a decentralised manner while, at the same time, being able to see the whole picture.

AMAGNO SCORES HIGH

AMAGNO was particularly convincing with its digital workflows and data security in the cloud. More than 80 employees of Spree Ambulance can now work more efficiently and have the possibility to control various processes and workflows. Manuals and procedural instructions can also be easily kept up to date. Thanks to the version control feature of AMAGNO, all the changes can now be tracked and reversed.
