New DMS for the Spree Ambulance in Berlin

The AMAGNO document management system has enabled Spree Ambulance to take a significant step towards digitalisation of its business processes. Not only will it allow employees to get back to doing what they do best, it also means that the affiliates of the Berlin transport control centre will be able to check whether the principle of basic treatment is being followed. That means Spree Ambulance can benefit from significantly less paperwork, whilst controlling and statistical key figures will be made available to affiliates in a transparent way going forward.

THE CHALLENGE OF DATA SECURITY

A key consideration whilst searching for a new document management system was data security. Documents were always getting lost with the pre-existing document management system. In order to avoid this in future, we began searching for a document management system that is not only cloud-based but also entails high data security.

Thanks to AMAGNO, manuals and procedural instructions can be kept up to date, whilst versioning means you can trace who has amended what.

The 80 Spree Ambulance employees can now work more transparently, whilst affiliates can check at any time whether the principle of basic treatment is being followed.

Founded in Berlin in 1995, today Spree Ambulance GmbH & Co. KG not only comprises patient transport itself but also the patient transport control centre Berliner Krankentransport Leitstelle (BKL) GmbH. For more than 10 years this has been one of the largest private associations of patient transport companies in Germany.
