For over 150 years, Schlotter GmbH & Co.KG has been the supplier of agricultural and garden equipment. In addition to the sale of agricultural machinery and equipment, the company also focuses on a comprehensive machine service.
Schlotter uses AMAGNO for invoice processing and digital recording of vehicle correspondence, approval documents and work orders. The digital document management system also enables the company to ensure revision security regarding incoming invoices, flexible adaptation to work processes and more relaxed and productive work.

REQUIREMENTS

Since the number of digital invoices received by the company had increased, Schlotter’s main objective was to process and archive invoices without having to create countless duplicates and, yet again, print them out. This workflow was to be optimized by means of digital stamps, notes and term keywording.

The information exchange between departments in different locations via a typical hierarchy also created a delay for the workflow. The subsequent processes led to a further delay, leading to deadlines being missed due to the lack of clarity.

IMPLEMENTATION

In 2016, Schlotter GmbH & Co. KG started with five user licences and began a test phase in the accounting department. After a successful test phase, the system subsequently expanded to all departments. The employees are now more and more accepting of the system, as they are pleased about the work facilitation and shift of priorities thanks to AMAGNO.

Schlotter Agricultural and Garden Machinery is working with different stamps and magnets in its complex invoice workflow to facilitate transparency and accelerate internal business processes.

The company explored many well-known document management solutions before the implementation of AMAGNO, but none of those solutions were as flexible, modern, adaptable and expandable as the magnetic document management AMAGNO. AMAGNO scored high with Schlotter GmbH & Co.KG in particular because of the stamps and magnets. In the meantime, the DMS is adapting to the processes, in particular, the digital management of the company. By implementing the desired features, the company has clearly gained the upper hand.
