Peper & Söhne is a family-run company founded in 2013 and based in Bremen, Germany. Peper & Söhne focus on a varied portfolio including commercial real estate investment, development and management mostly in and around the Bremen region in North Germany.

Peper & Söhne have been working with the AMAGNO Electronic Document Management System since early 2018 and have successfully digitalised processes relating to accounting and incoming mail. Since implementing AMAGNO, Peper & Söhne have also extended the EDMS to other departments and continued to develop smart workflows in the ECM.

REQUIREMENTS

Peper & Söhne has been growing so fast, that it had to adapt in order to manage the growing load of paperwork that came with bigger projects. The paper invoice workflow that the company had at first simply couldn’t cope, and started causing serious delays, as well as problems due to loss of important documents. Peper & Söhne decided that they needed an electronic document management system to take advantage of the opportunities offered by digitization, and to optimise internal processes and remote working.

Peper & Söhne needed a proven EDMS with top quality support, an innovative roadmap and vision, stable architecture, and with full flexibility to be able to customize it. Peper & Söhne also needed other functions like digital workflows, built-in OCR and an EDMS-DATEV interface.

IMPLEMENTATION

Peper & Söhne started to use AMAGNO for general accounts and to deal with incoming mail. As well as taking care of automatic email filing, all post was also scanned and automatically sent to the relevant departments. The AMAGNO EDMS enabled fast, collaborative access to important company documents, and workflows involving invoices were set up to automatically capture and transfer data to finance software via the AMAGNO-DATEV interface (via XpergoHUB).

Peper & Söhne took advantage of AMAGNO Project Management experts to keep on top of adjustments and new requirements throughout the quick implementation process. The next steps will be to integrate HR, Real Estate Management and other teams into the AMAGNO EDMS and use the smart cross-company workflows to increase productivity overall!
